Okay this is my first time writing a blog so i hope it will turned to be beneficial to siapa2 yang baca... Here we go!
Hong Kong is actually my first trip as a backpackers traveller. I like to travel but never in my life pernah terfikir nak jadi backpackers. But okay, let's take the challenge so on that night, terus beli tiket MAS pergi ke HK after getting a 'green light' by mr. hubby (supportive kannnn my husband)!
My trip to HK was from 29th May 2012 - 01st June 2012. This is actually my 2nd trip to HK whereby last time I go there masa student exchange. Tapi sayangnya tak pergi mana2 pun & lekat duk hotel yang kecil & sempitttt gila!! (itula hotel paling sempit aku pernah tinggal time tu).
Since i'm living in this small island called Labuan, i need to take a flight from labuan - KK - HK with my small bodyguard Sky (ciannnn Lulu. Masih baby so x blh ikut ehhh. Duduk diam2 dengan ayah di Labuan).
So our flight to HK takes around 3 hour mcm tu. Sampai je kat airport, kena cari pulak pelancong2 tambahan which is my sister Lucy & cousin Deddy. Ciann dorang sampai awal & kena tunggu Yuni. Dah la mcm tu, nak refer arrival board semua tulisan cina! hihihi... nasib laa!!
So sesampai je kat HK, masa itu emas! so cepat2 la kami ambik Airport Express Train @ 5th floor heading to our hotel, The Salisbury YMCA. Train ticket ni kitarog beli based on group so the price is a bit cheaper which is HKD 55 (for group of 4).
The view from airport to city was superb! Baru Yuni tau yang HK ni actually terkenal dgn kapal2 & cargo2 nya.. (ketara laaa my general knowledge ni di hujung2 tanduk. huhu).
So we stop at Kowloon MTR Station and before we take our next transport to the hotel, we all singgah dulu kat kedai macam 7 Eleven to buy our Octopus Card (a must card for everyone living in HK. Selain dprd korang blh guna card ni utk naik most of public transportation, you can also buy stuff from 7 Eleven without using your cash. macam prepaid card laa). Since we all will be staying here for 4 days, so we topup HKD150. Thennn barulah kitaorang ambil Airport Express Shuttle bus no. K2 yang berhenti-henti to most of tempat2 penting utk tourist. Untuk we all, kitaorg stop kat The Peninsula Hotel (but we all tak la tinggal di situ. mahall!!).
From Peninsula Hotel, we just walk to our hotel, The Salisbury YMCA. This hotel located in Tsim Sha Tsui area so it is very strategik! Nearby banyak restoran halal (eventhough arab2 turki2 punya restoran. asalkan halal!). Boutique? Gila banyak! Tourist attractions? Gila gila banyak! Branded stuff? huhuhu meleleh Yuni tengok...
Our room sangat selesa. We booked through Asiarooms.com and they charged us HKD1045/night. Queen bed. View from the window? Hong Kong Space Museum.. perghh!
Without wasting much time (even jam time tu dah tunjuk 5pm), we made our first move to 1881 Heritage which is exactly sebelah our hotel. Not much here, just sightseeing besides ada Tiffany & Co. plus other kedai yg super mahal!! The building mcm ala2 British dulu2.
Tak sampai pun setengah jam, we already move to our next destination, Harbour City (Ocean Centre). Tak jauh pun, mcm biasalahh... sebelah jer! Kalau Yuni ni jenis yg gila branded stuff, mmg this place is heaven for me. Sebut ja apa2 brand, semua pun ada. Plus the shops is mmg banyak! berderet-deret! Asal tahan kaki ja nak meround.
Oh ya masa meround kat Harbour City ni, i was impressed dengan the building punya customer service. There's one time when we were walking mcm takde tujuan (maybe looks like orang sesat la), ada satu mamat ni asyik tengok kitaorg ja. Last2 dia approach kitaorg. Fuhh mmg menggelabah time tu sbb ingatkan kitaorg ada salah. Manala tau hanya orang2 kaya ja yg blh masuk situ. Hmm.. lastly dia tny kitaorg cari apa. Rupanya dorang ni tukang bg guide to the visitors. They go around & help! good good! Tak habis dengan mamat tu, ada lagi satu machine ni (lupa nak ambik gambar daaa) ada muka orang & this machine looks like a telephone. So anak pintar aku si Sky ni pandai2 la pigi call. Matai naa!!! skalinya ada orang ba! live lg tu! dia bilang "yes can i help you?". Kalau suara saja nda apa. Ini skali dengan muka ba. I see you, you see me. Mana ndak malu... haiya haiyaa...
OK lepas puas jalan2, perut pun sudah lapar, so kitaorg pun merayap lagi cari tempat makan halal. Initially we wanted to eat at Pizza Hut, inside Harbour City. But my cousin ragu2 pulak sbb tiada logo halal. So terpaksala kami merayap cari restoran halal (nasib baik time buat research ada terbaca yg area ni banyak kedai halal). Merayap punya merayap, jumpalah kami dengan Turkish Restaurant nie...Istanbul Kebab namanya. Harganya? memang mahal. Makanan kat HK ni sememangnya mahal! huhuhu.. nasib baik jugak bukan aku yg bayar. Si Deddy yg bayar. haha!
The above was my dinner; which seriously i prefer to eat maggi rather than that. Tu la! mau try punya pasal... huhuhu.. Oh ya, about halal restaurant. In this Tsim Sha Tsui area, once you found 1 halal restaurant, there will be a lot more nearby. After kitaorg makan tu, time nak balik, we found banyakkk lagi kedai makanan halal which the price & menu lebih menarik. hmm...
So that's a wrap up for day 1! Lepas makan, balik... jalan kaki jer! dekat kan! Kaki pun dah sengal.. huhuhu...
ohhh!! lupa lupa.. masa kitaorg balik tu, me & my sister Lucy pergi merayap lagi kat taman 1881 Heritage. click click click kitaorg ambil la gambar. Excited kann!! haaa excited jgk dengan gardennya yg cantik tu.. Tiba2 we smell something kat garden yg byk2 bunga tu. Bila dah merinding bulu roma.. apa lagi?! Chowww!!!
